here are this Summer’s Biodiversity Activities
phragmite Removal
Starting in the spring of 2025, our team is initiating a comprehensive phragmite removal process on Nun’s Island, with the ambitious goal of eliminating all phragmite infestations by 2027. The project will commence with a thorough site assessment, followed by careful extraction using advanced, environmentally responsible techniques. We are committed to adhering to all safety and regulatory standards, ensuring that our cleanup efforts protect the local ecosystem and community health while paving the way for a sustainable future.
